About Us

Massy Energy | Production Resources is the Exploration and Production Unit of Massy Energy and is involved in the Exploration & Production of oil and gas. It is the only Company of this type within the Massy Group of Companies and is therefore quite unique in its operations. Massy Energy | Production Resources has its Corporate Office in San Fernando whilst the Field Office is in Moruga.

Our company has a Joint Venture Partnership with PETROTRIN and operates the Moruga West Fields, located at Haggard Trace, 8MM Penal Rock Road, Moruga. The Company's Operations is geared towards producing oil and selling same to PETROTRIN. This is done by the utilization of trained Company Personnel and Contractors. The contracted work accounts for the bulk of expenditure with such services as: Well Servicing Rig, Swab Rig, Electrical & Mechanical Services and transportation / lifting equipment. The Moruga West Joint Venture (MWJV) Field is classified as a mature field and a Waterflood Project was implemented in 2013 to enhance oil production.

Massy Energy | Production Resources' Staff include an Operations Manager, Petroleum Engineer, Petroleum Engineering Technicians, HSSE Officer, Gaugers, Field Attendants, Labourers/Line Walkers, Field Contractors as well as HR and Finance to support the Operations.
